‘Eat, Drink, Sleep’ is the mantra at this ever-popular pub with rooms from Charles and Edmund Inkin, who also run the Gurnard’s Head and the Old Coastguard in Cornwall. In many ways the Griffin is an archetypal dream of a country inn – all fireside sofas, knobbly brickwork, low beams and quarry-tiled floors, with craft ales at the bar and fresh, home-cooked food. Absolutely marvellous restaurant offering the best lunches and dinners in Wales! I’ve been visiting the Griffin with my family for the last 20 years very regularly. Their inventiveness, attention to detail and overall customer service is second to none.

Been here previously and it has always been excellent! They serve enough food that enables you to have all 3 courses. This time round the puddings were exceptionally delicious. You’ll be well looked after! Give them a go.
